WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT...

ITSELF:

God's word known as the Bible is a letter to us His creation.It a collection of sixty six (66) books. It instruct us on  how to live a life that pleases Him(God) it comforts us through difficult times and gives us wisdom and knowledge which acquires to understand the word.

 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. Psalm 19:7

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.  Hebrew 4:12

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. Matthew 24:35

                                          

GOD: Is a spirit. He is timeless in existence, perfect in all His doings, Holy  and forever good.
 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. John 4:24

Exalt the LORD our God, And worship at His holy hill; For the LORD our God is holy.  Psalm 99:9

Tell and bring forth your case; Yes, let them take counsel together. Who has declared this from ancient time? Who has told it from that time? Have not I, the LORD? And there is no other God besides Me, A just God and a Savior; There is none besides Me. "Look to Me, and be saved, All you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other. Isaiah 45:21-22

As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.  Psalm 18:30

Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. 1 Timothy 1:17

HUMANITY: We(humans) are made in the image of God, meaning that we are created to the rule this world.

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. Genesis 2:7

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.  Genesis 1:27

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. Psalm 139:14

HEAVEN: Heaven is a place where God dwells and His angels. It is also a place where we(the children of God) shall live one day.

And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. Revelation 21:3

 But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Revelation 21:27

HELL: Just like heaven is real so is hell, it is a place where people who reject God and His existence will end up. It is place where man are separated from their creator.

But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. Revelation 21:8

In flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power.  2 Thessalonians 1:8-9

And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:15

SIN: Sin is the action that separate people from God. It is  what separated the first beings (Adam and Eve) from God and from the garden of Eden. Sin is the disobeying of God's law and the wages of it, is death.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear.  Isaiah 59:2

Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned.  Romans 5:12

FAITH: The Bible declares that faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Faith means you believing or having trust in something or someone.

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.  Hebrews 11:6

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.  Ephesians 2:8-9

LIFE: The moment when  God breathed in man(us) that's when He blessed us with the gift of life. He created us for His glory, to worship and live for Him.

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."  John 8:12

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.  John 1:12-13

He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him. John 3:36

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17

HEART: According to the Bible, the heart is the center of all activities. both spiritual and physical.Everything begins at the heart, Salvation begins at the heart, when you realize you love someone it all begins in the heart. when you are angry, sad, worried or confused it all starts at the heart. Let see what the Bible say about the heart;

Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.  Proverbs 4:23

 As in water face reflects face, So a man's heart reveals the man.  Pr 27:19

The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9

But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." 1 Samuel 16:7

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:21

FORGIVENESS: Forgiveness means letting go, just letting go. Freeing yourself from the hurt, bitterness and resentment. When one forgives, s/he is free from all the anger, sadness, hate and pain the offender(s) has put them through. Forgiving others means setting yourself free from the cage of grudges. It was because of forgiveness that God sent His only Son(Jesus) to die on the cross for our sins. God could have destroyed us if He wanted to but because our heavenly Father is full of compassion and mercy, He chose to give us.  (Psalm 145:8)

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  1 John 1:9

As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. Psalm 103:12

To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against Him.  Daniel 9:9

For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.  Matthew 6:14-15

Then Peter came to Him and said, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?" Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven. Matthew 18:21-22

Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. — Ephesians 4:31-32

BEING THANKFUL: Being thankful is a good way of showing appreciation to a person who has helped you in anywhere or who has gifted you something, but most importantly we have to show gratitude toward our creator(God) no matter the situation you are in.

Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. 1 Chronicles 16:34

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;  Philippians 4:6

Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfies the longing soul, And fills the hungry soul with goodness.  Psalm 107:8-9




JESUS CHRIST: The bible says that Jesus was 100% God and 100% man so this means He is one with the Father. (John 10:30) He lived in heaven with his God(John 6:38) before He lived on earth 2000 years ago. His Father (God) sent Him so He could die for our sins on the cross.( John 5:37)

But Jesus looked at them and said, "With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible. Mark 10:27

For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls. Hebrews 12:3

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 1 John 4:15
